Adam Shehata
Adam is a family practice anesthetist, lawyer, and professional pilot. He received his aviation training in Canada and Australia and eventually earned his Airline Transport Pilot License. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2016 after articling at a Bay Street law firm. He completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Toronto, followed by his family medicine residency and anesthesia training at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. He is most proud of being Amelia’s father and Christina’s husband.
Amir Hamid
Amir Hamid is a family physician who mostly does anesthesia in a variety of settings, from rural to remote. When he’s not in the OR, he is either in a small emergency department or covering some of his colleagues in a family medicine clinic when they need a break and he has thought far enough ahead to keep his schedule open. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa, and went on to McMaster for his entire medical training, from his MD to his Family Practice Anesthesia year. He is in it “for the love of the game,” and to help people. The biggest compliment he can receive is that he cares for his patients, and that he is a kind person. He loves hearing that he is wrong because it makes him think really hard, and he is always down for a great argument.
